Pokemon Pinball, the name doesn't sound too exciting, but rest assured, this game will revolutionize the game boy. The cartridge for this game has a rumble pak built in so you can feel the shakes tilts and bounces of the pinball. There is no confirmation yet of which pokemon will be in it but if you look at the screen you will see definitely charmander, digletts, a staryu, and maybe a jigglypuff up at the top.

You may recognize the guy in the picture from tv. That's right, it's Snap, the newest member of Ash's Group. Hence the name Pokemon Snap. Pokemon Snap, being the first pokemon game for N64, takes place on Pokemon Island. Good old Prof. Oak resides here taking care of the pokemon on the island. He hires you, Snap to take pictures of all the pokemon on the island. Each time you go out you get 60 shots and it's not just on the ground, you can take to the sky to hunt legendary birds, or turn into a boat and chase after Seel and Lapras. Many candid shots like this one await!

The Game you've all been waitng for is finally confirmed for Canadian release(oh yeah that means it's gonna be released in the states too.) Pokemon 2 will be available in 2 versions, gold and silver. There will be at least 250 different pokemon in this version and each one is available in male and female genders, just like nidoran from the original. Two new pokemon you may have already seen, Togepi has been featured in the show and now is part of ash's group. Pikablu will be starring in the new movie "Mewtwo Strikes Back" to be released in late summer. Also if you have a male and female pokemon of the same type you can breed them to make a poke egg. There also is a timer between day and night, and some pokemon can only be caught at night and vice versa. If that's not enough for you there will be a new mode of transportation: the skateboard!

In Pikachu Genki Dechu you are a trainer who follows and studies the pikachus in viridian forest. You meet a Pikachu which then becomes your responsibility. You can interact with your Pikachu by way of a a headset which plugs into your controller. Pikachu can hear what you say so if you call it cute it will become overly happy and if you call it stupid it will get mad. Sadly, Pikachu Genki Dechu, which translates as "Pikachu is feeling fine" will not come out in Canada or USA.

Yes, a yellow version. As if Blue and Red and (in Japan) Green weren't enough. In Japan people call it Tv Pokemon because it is based on the show. You start with Pikachu, Gary, with Eevee. Nurse Joy looks more like Joy and has a Chansey beside her. Jesse and James are finally included and they have meowth koffing and ekans which evolve over time. You are given a charmander, bulbasaur, and squirtle by people such as Damien. Personally i think this is a benifit from having to trade with others in order to get all the pokemon that you start out with in the red and blue versions. Another cool feature is if you look at Pikachu (who, by the way, follows you) and press A it will (crudely) say "Pikachu!" and you can see it's face to get an Idea of how it's doing. New better graphics for all pokemon, especially Metapod! Some downsides are that Pikachu will not and can not evolve into raichu. And the only way to get it now is in Japanese!
