Here are some simple steps to relieve eye and sinus pain:
Press upward with moderate pressure for 5 seconds near the undersides of the bony ridges above the eyes. On each eye, press a line of points a quarter-inch apart starting at the inner edge of the lower ridge of the eye socket ending at the outer corner of the eye. Finish this step by starting at the point between the eyebrows and gently stroking bony ridges out to the temples.
Press gently on the closed eyelids with the tips of two or three fingers for 4 seconds.
Apply pressure with three fingers on the temples.
Beginning at inside eye corners, with your thumb and forefinger, move and press down the sides of your nose. when you reach your nostrils, switch to both forefingers and press while following your cheekbones out to your ears.
To complete, rub palms together until heat is generated, then lay them gently over your eyes. This is very soothing.
NOTE: Finding the exact point is not important in the above and in all of the techniques presented in this page. However, it is important to use a gentle, loving touch.
