Ghazi Group traces its humble beginnings to 1975 when its first company, Ghazi Exim, was established to develop International Trade of Textile Fabrics from China. The Group began operations from Chittagong, the Port City of Bangladesh. With the onset of free market policies, opening of Private & Foreign Banks, Insurance Companies and easy access of International links Dhaka emerged as a prominent business center. In moving with the changing needs of time & business, Ghazi Group shifted its base in the year 1992 to Dhaka in a rented office. Today, the Group owns a 170M2 office in a newly built tower located within the five minutes walking distance from the Dhaka's only two Five Star category Hotels.

The activities of the Group diversified to various fields such as Chemicals, Agri-Produce,  Plastic & Paper. The Group caters raw materials to various Industrial & Trading houses, to name a few, Textile, Packaging, Leather/Tannery, Soap, Glass, Rubber & Plastic.
