Combining narration and song, “Jesus Christ is Lord,” is a testament of faith to all believers of the resurrection story. From the opening line, “Listen! The echo of a timeless theme is heard throughout all the earth …” to the closing finale, the cantata moves the listener to believe that “Jesus Christ is Lord.”
