Change a Pokémon into one with a shining state
NOTE:YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS SECRET ONLY WITH POKEMON THAT EVOLVE
1. Put a flying Pokemon(it must know FLY)
in the 1st position and put your Red Gyarados in the 6th position and
put the Pokemon you wish to have a shining status in the 2nd position.
2. Put all the Pokemon back into the PC except for the 1st one.
3. Take the 2nd one out(the one you want to be changed).
4. Enter the Bug-Catching Contest,and then exit it as soon as you enter it.
When the clerk asks you if you want to quit,say no.
5. Use the Pokemon that knows FLY to fly out the contest.The 2nd Pokemon should
appear in with your other Pokemon,then store it into a PC,and go back to the Contest
and say "YES" to finish the contest.After the winners of the contest are announced,check your status screen.
You should have the 2nd Pokemon you wished to change in your possession,
with a different color, and with Red Gyarados' name. But when you enter
a battle,it will still be the same Red Gyarados.Fight with it or use rare candy until it evolves.Then when you go into a battle,it will
be that evolved Pokemon with the shining status.
NOTE:I have not tried this so it could be harmful to your game.
Control Time
Save the game and when the last sentence "whoever saved the game" appears restart your game boy.When you select continue from the main screen,it will ask you to confirm the day and time.

Duplicate Items
Just attach an item to a Pokémon and duplicate it using the duplicate Pokémon secrets located here.
Get a Smeargle to know any technique
Do mystery gift with a person who has set up a team of Pokémon that know only the moves you would want your Smeargle to learn.Then go to the place in Viridian where you can battle a trainer once a day.Battle them with smeargle and use sketch to learn those moves you want it to learn.
Change The Time
At the beginning scene of the game(where it shows either Ho-oh or Lugia soaring) press and hold down + select + B.Then a menu will come up that will allow you to change the time with a password.To find out what your password is,go to http://www.filb.de/pf/e.htm
Fight trainers over again quickly
If you want to have rematches with trainers (who have given you their phone number),this is a quick way to do it.Go to your home and talk to your mom.Change it to daylight savings time and back again.Doing it over and over will give you a better chance of having people calling you,hence getting a better chance to have rematches!
Raise the strongest kind of Pokémon
Before you raise a PKMN,consider what levels you can find it.If possible,raise a level 5 version of that PKMN.Don't raise a Dratini(at level 5)when you can catch a level 10 Dragonair instead.Since it is it's evolved form,it will gain strength quicker than dratini.An exeption to this is egg moves.If you want a dragonite to know haze(through breeding with a lapras)you will have no choice but to breed in order to get a dragonite to know that technique.So you can decide if knowing a certain move is more valuable than strength is.
