Pokémon Crystal
Pokémon Crystal will come out within the next month and will feature the choice to play as a boy or girl. The cell phone feature won't be available though,as not many kids walk around with cell phones.(It's not as popular as it is in Japan.)Instead, they added a big place to continually fight trainers and earn money and items such as Iron and Carbos.
New Glitch Discovered!
I have recently discovered a way to turn any pokemon that can evolve into onw with a shiny status!(By the way, this is NOT the bug catching contest secret.)I discovered the secret while trading pokemon and duplicating them.I used the same duplicating process used for red, blue, and yellow.I guess i turned it off RIGHT when the pokemon slots were being moved up(because my first pokemon, charizard was traded)and this caused the pokemon to halfway get moved up!This meant that my pokemon actually switched bodies!Whoever was underneath a pokemon was whose attacks, stats and level was transferred to.I had a Jynx that became my ho-oh and knew his sacred fire and other attacks! This is a rare occurance and it can be fixed! If you leave a pokemon at the day care center, then they will become normal once again.
So I was thinking,if you trade red gyarados(with it in the first slot)and have someone that can evolve like wooper in the second slot, try the trick. The wooper will be halfway wooper and halfway red gyarados. When it evolves,it will just be a shiny quagsire and it will also know any moves that the red gyarados knew to boot!Beware that when you perform this trick, that your whole party will be infected. So use pokemon that wont matter if they are messed up.If anyone can trick to work themselves, please contact me and we can talk!Good luck!
New Card Game
In Japan there is a second pokemon trading card game for game boy.(I'm not sure if it has come out yet or not.)It will have afeature to sacn your own pokemon cards onto it and use them in the game!Pretty cool huh?It also comes with 2 real promos,an awesome Lugia and a Mewtwo card!
Wanna hear my interpretion of Jigglypuff?Click here to listen to it.I think it sound pretty close.
These are the three new Pokémon from the new Pokémon game(in the works) for the Game Boy Advance. The one on the left,(Luri Luri)looks like a baby version of Marill. The other two are Kakureon(a new evolution of Eevee perhaps?) and Hoeruko. There are new trainers in this game and they make an apperance in Pokémon 4 the movie.
Neo 4 has finally arrived in Japan. This new addition features Dark and Light Pokémon as well as a few new shining Pokémon cards as:Charizard,Kabutops,Mewtwo,Tyrannitar,Raichu and Celebi! The above Mew is not inclued in this set but is a promo.I got that picture from Pojo.com.those shining Pokémopn cards are extremely rare!
POKERUS!!!
All of this info was taken from Pokémon Forever and was writen by Meowth346
When battling, there is a 1 in 21845 chance that your Pokémon
will become infected with a virus. Since this is a slimmer chance
than finding a Shiny Pokémon in the wild, most players will never
see this virus in their game. Therefore, those who do would feel
very lucky.
So, the virus is a lucky thing? You bet!
There's a very slim chance that a Pokémon will be infected from
a battle. Afterwards, their status reads "POKéRUS".
Most Trainers don't notice the infection, however, until they talk to a
Nurse in a Pokémon Center to heal their Pokémon. The
Nurse will say that there are small life forms on the Pokémon.
Then, Professor Elm will call saying that the PokéRus is harmless,
has no apparent effect, and will wear off in time.
A Pokémon has caught the PokéRus...meaning
that it can pass it to others, right? Naturally! Put a
PokéRus effected Pokémon into a PC Box, and you may find
the whole Box infected by PokéRus. Also, just walking around
with an infected Pokémon on your belt may cause other Pokémon
on your belt to become infected. Recovering an infected Pokémon
at the Pokémon Center will also infect the rest of the party that's
being healed, too.
So it spreads quickly...but how quickly does it wear off?
It takes about 5 days for a Pokémon's immune system to fight off
the virus.
But...then the other Pokémon will just re-infect the
first Pokémon after it's been cured...right? Nope!
After being cured of the virus, a little dot appears on the Status screen
showing that the Pokémon is now immune to the virus, and
cannot be infected with PokéRus again.
What does the PokéRus even do? It doubles
the Effort Value received from battles. This means that stats grow
twice as fast than they would normally, while still receiving normal experience
for level. That means that you want to fight as many Pokémon
as possible while the Pokémon is infected! This is especially
helpful with Pokémon caught at level 40 or higher, and usually don't
reach their full stat potential.
