Mewtwo can be found in the lowest point of the unknown dungeon.He escaped from the labs in Cinnibar Island after being experimented on.Mewtwo would be reconized as a MEW but all that experimenting and adjusting(to create the most powerful pokémon) completly changed him.
About Mew...
Mew is an extremely rare Pokémon.One gave birth to Mewtwo on Febuary 5.Mew can also learn any TM and HM,making it very hard to defeat.The only way to get Mew would to use a Gameshark or some kind of secret.Originaly Mew was in the game and Mewtwo wasn't.But Mew looked too much like Meowth so they replaced her with Mewtwo.
People say Mew is located behind the SS Anne.All that is back there is a truck!YOU CAN'T MOVE THE TRUCK AND FIND MEW!!!
