Digimon

What are Digimon you ask?A while ago the anime cartoon came out on the Fox Kids Network. It looks a lot like Pokémon doesn't it?Although the virtual pets came out in 1997 to the U.S.(They came from Japan.)Encase you want to know what time it is on,it is on Fox,saturdays at 8:00 and 9:30(where I live)But I think the time could change. If you ask me,I think Digimon is VERY cool.

Doesn't that look like a Pinsir? It kinda does cause it's a small pic...

Digimon are Digital monsters you can raise and train.(Kinda like Tamagotchi and Virtual pets). You can fight another person with a Digimon if your Digimon is at a fighting stage. When it is about to change into it's final stage you can begin fighting with it.There are about around 20 Digimon in the first Digimon toy.Digimon2,3,4,& 5 came out in Japan only. Here are more pics of Digimon as well as cheats for the first virtual pet.

Getting The Digimon You Want

There are 4 factors that effect which Digimon you get. They are: Hunger Hearts, Strength Hearts, Alarm Responding, and Waking Up Call. However you do each of the four factors will determine how your Digimon evolves. For example, if you train a lot, feed a lot, correct alarms quickly, and don't wake up your Digimon you are more likely to get a stronger Digimon. There are 3 categories for Digimons: Low, Medium and High.

Low: To get a low digimon, you must feed him very little, train him very little, respond to alarms VERY slowly, and Wake him up while he's asleep.

Medium: To get a medium digimon, you must fill up all his strength and hunger hearts, respond like normal, and wake ups can go either way.

High: To get a high Digimon, you must feed your digimon even though all his hunger hearts are full, train him even though his strength hearts are full, respond VERY quickly, and never wake him up at night.

Remember some luck is involved in getting each digimon. Also be sure to check the evolution chart on this page, because the evolution steps are sometimes different with each digimon.

Agumon: Medium, High
Betamon: Low
Greymon: High
Airdramon: High
Darkmon: High
Mermon: Medium
Seadramon: Medium
Tyranomon: Medium
Numemon: Low

Remember though, that getting a good level 4 digimon usually means that your level 5 won't be as good. So take a risk and try the Numemon. That's the only way to get a Teddymon. Info on getting Level 5, Grand Champions is on its way.
