Do you have photos of rabbits that show the color well? If so you should enter our "Beautiful Rabbit Color Photo Contest". I am sponsoring this contest with real (US) cash prizes for the best rabbit color photos. Submission of your photos entitles me to use them on my web site as examples of the various colors. Each photo will be clearly labeled as to owner, breed, color, name, and any other info you request, and I will not claim any further rights to the photos beyond this use.**
Photos of any breed of rabbit and every color are eligible. Visitors to my web page will then vote for their favorite picture. The owners of the top five pictures will win cash prizes as follows: 1st=$25, 2nd=$20, 3rd=$15, 4th=$10, and 5th=$5. Winners will be published, and checks mailed, as soon as they have been chosen (the deadline will be announced).
I don't necessarily want "cutesy" pictures here, my goal is to get pictures that best illustrate the selected color*. The rarer the color, the better your chances, as I will select what I feel are the best picture(s) of each color to be voted on (breeds with differing fur types illustrating the same genetic color will be entered-such as copper satin, chestnut angora, castor rex, and chestnut dwarf.)
To submit a photo already on the web (YOU must OWN this picture) just e-mail me the URL(s) and I will upload them to my site. If you don't have them on the net yet, send them to me snail mail (include large SASE if you want them returned) to Shelly Whelan, Mystic Elegance, 829 SW 10th St, Wadena, MN 56482. * I will determine if the color is distinguishable in the photo. If I don't feel it is an accurate representation of the designated color it will not be used.
