Your host Michael Fine is an accomplished Executive Chef whose passions include cooking, eating, entertaining , exploring the countryside and antiques.
Michael's culinary background includes Sous Chef at the Harbor Castle Banquet & Convention Center in Toronto where he was responsible for the preparation of several thousand meals per day; Sous Chef at the Toronto Cricket Curling & Skating Club, Executive Chef at Tramps and the Duke of Gloucester in Toronto, and finally Executive & Consulting Chef in the Lake Placid Resort Area.
In March of 1997, Michael purchased the Historic New Hamburg Railway Stationmaster's Home and opened the Chef's Inn Bed & Breakfast. Guests are treated to antique-furnished rooms, fabulous breakfasts and by special request, Chef Michael will prepare custom made five and six course private dinners for his guests. Three day hands-on cooking classes are also offered and include a trip to the St. Jacobs Farmers Market.
