    International Child Support

Our thoughts and prayers go out for all lives that were changed on Tuesday, September 11, 2001.

Special thanks to Ms. Leah Driggers and World Magazine for calling attention to this cause.

We're moving soon! We now have our own domain! Check back for the details!

International child support is a complex area. Countless numbers of cases fall through the cracks when different nations are involved. While various countries negotiate agreements, the children remain in need. The progress is slow and discouraging for those who wait.

It is tragic when a parent leaves children behind without support. This is my story and the reason I created this page. Whether the parent is a foreign national and returns to their homeland or travels abroad for business, the responsibility of child support must remain a priority.

If you are in need of help, I will do what I can to point you in the right direction. I am NOT a professional attorney, nor do I make any claims that you will have success. If you are just visiting, I hope you will leave this page with more awareness of this issue. I believe that if we, as a global society, unite, fewer children will be in need.

I have made a checklist help you along your way and have listed countries for which we have international contact addresses and phone/fax numbers. Also, there is a USA Contacts page and a section for U.S. citizens as well.

Visit some of the other helpful sites, sign the guestbook, and feel free to post in the forum. Just a reminder, this site is for LEGITIMATE issues only. Please do not use it to 'slam' anyone. Note: any links posted in the forum or guestbook will be deleted until they are validated. Once approved, they will be listed in the links section of this site.

Also, see the survey results from previous visitors regarding their cases, or visit the site I made to call attention to my case.

If you can help in ANY way, let me know. Many people cannot afford legal fees and desperately need help. In some countries, attorneys are necessary to present the case to a court. For others, private investigators are needed to help locate the absent parent.

Until all nations agree that support is a basic human right of a child, international child support orders will remain an undefined issue of the world.
