Olga Vlasova was born on May 25, 1976 in Novosibirsk, Siberia, Russia to Anatoli and Nadezgda Vlasova. She was an only child and has always enjoyed the love and closeness of her family. She studied at the State Academy of Management and Economy.

       Growing up, Olga was an excellent athlete and enjoyed running, playing basketball, fencing, and tae kwan do. She started kick boxing and won the amateur world title at 120 lbs. in San Jose, California, in 1995. One day, she saw a boxing match on television between Ramona Gatto and Natalia Lareonova. She was 17 years old. She was so excited about boxing that she started training immediately, never imagining that she would eventually fight and beat both Ramona and Natalia. She had about 30 kick boxing bouts and 20 amateur boxing matches with only 2 losses. Titles she has won include: The Tae Kwan Do Siberian Championships in both 1991 and 1992, the Muay Thai Russian Title in 1993 and 1994 and the Russian Kickboxing Championship (ISKA) in 1993, 1994, 1995, and 1996. She also won the ISKA/IKF World Title in 1995 and in 1997 the Russian Amateur Boxing Championship.

       Olga's hobbies include fishing and making friends. She has moved from Moscow, Russia to Ft. Myers, Florida and signed with Steve Canton of the SJC Boxing Club. She has fallen in love with the beach, boating, the climate, and the people of Southwest Florida. Olga is studying English, and loves to read and write poetry. She also loves music and hopes to learn to play the guitar. Olga's goal is to train hard, learn all she can, and become a world champion. She is looking forward to making her professional debut and hopes to attract a big following. Olga stands 5'7" tall, is right handed, and weighs between 130-135 lbs.
