After listening to all the rumors that go around Stephen F. Austin State University and finding out about changes on our campus after they happened, some students at SFA decided that WE would do some research and find out what the students REALLY want to know.

However, due to all the resistance to "everyday" students collecting information that we received, we decided to change the focus of The Scoop. This website will now be considered as a central SFA Information Site.

We appreciate all of the support, feedback, and information we have received from the students at SFA. We have received over 20 e-mails per day full of comments, suggestions, and praises about this site. We are adding and improving every issue, so all of the suggestions are being heard.

We are glad the students love this site, and we will continue to serve our beloved college. The Scoop can now be looked at as a resource site, with the goal to provide as many online resources for SFA students as possible. Look for many improvements and additions as we expand our knowlegde and information bases on the web.

This site is still not controlled, censored, or moderated by SFA; therefore, you will still get the answers you want without all the beating around the bush.

Think of this site as sort of a WWW database, where students can find what they need on the web in one central location. It's free, there will never be a charge, and it's informative. What's even better, is the fact that this site will always focus on the students, and they are actually involved in the site. We will keep our editorial section, and continue to have a Guest Editorialist in the What We Think section.
