He uses the overhead in every lecture, and it is very hard to see your notes, and he throws things on the test he has never covered and you can't find in the book. "Very interesting man. Amusing to watch and listen to. He is enthusiastic about his subject and makes it interesting. Relates things to everyday life. Take good notes and you will do well. He posts old copies of every exam outside his office, which REALLY helps in studying. I only used the book when I was studying. His exams are mainly from lecture notes. He gives extra credit for attendance. I highly recommend him." --BIO 133

McCollough:

"Go to class, don't be late!!!! go to study session he gives the night before the exam. He tests from his notes. Don't buy the lecture book unless you need a good doorstop. Lab see McCord." --BIO 133

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH you have to know how to spell everything exactly, and you have to have every single word that's written in the lab manual (which was written by him). You pretty much have to memorize every word in the manual for the test every class." --Zoo Lab 023

"Study, Study, Study, and then Study some more. Tests are hard. Everything must be spelled correctly and just as is in book. My advice take only if you have to." --BIO Lab 132

Rainwater:

"Enjoyable to listen to, time passes quickly. Write down everything he writes on the board and study the chapter in the book and you will do fine. He is a great guy and if you have any problems go talk to him and he will do his best to help explain again." --BIO 123

Robertson:

"GREAT TEACHER!!!! I recommend him to anyone. He makes learning fun and interesting. He does not assume that you do not know any thing. He gives points ( in class assignments (easy)) to help you out on exams. His exams are fairly easy if you studied. Just take good notes which he writes down on the board. Come to class he may give extra points for just being there!!!" --- Bio 133

VanKley:

"This class was really good for the incoming freshman who never studies. Easy teacher…does not expect much. Lessons straight out of the book. Occasionally he'll trip over his overhead cord and that's a pretty good laugh." --BIO 121

"Wow, you better take organic chemistry, and microbiology before you try this one, (I didn't) it is HARD, but he's fair and understanding. Go see him if ya need help. Have lots of pencils, and practice shorthand for notes!" --BIO 402
