A 2.5 hour drive from the San Jose Airport, it is one of the closest beach destinations in Costa Rica. Only ten minutes south of the shops, restaurants, and night clubs of Jaco, the Safari Surf on Playa Hermosa is less of a tourist centre and more a true part of the local Tico community. And at $15 each high season/ $12 low season, the rates are much more affordable.

BEACHFRONT ROOMS

There are six teak, tongue and groove rooms that can sleep up to 5 people, and are equipped with fans, fridge, microwave, and private bathrooms. LAUNDRY service is also available.

A beautiful bamboo and palm leaf rancho is the setting for the creations of Leonardo, a chef with 5 star hotel experience. Whether it's native Tico dishes or other good fare with Texmex leanings, Leonardo's your man.

We have a different supper and movie special every night on our ENORMOUS six foot screen.

PRICE
One of the BEST DEALS ANYWHERE IN COSTA RICA at $15 per person December to April, and July/August. $12 per person is charged low season months. (minimum 2 people per room).

LOCATION

beach is in the central Pacific Coast region; a 2.5 hour drive from the San Jose Airport. Stay right on the main highway past the Jaco exits, (there are 4 or 5) and continue along about 10 minutes until you get a couple of miles down the next beach - Playa Hermosa. We are right on the highway.
