Basic EKG & Dysrhythmia Interpretation Join our "fun", hands-on approach to rhythm recognition with emphasis on arrythmias commonly seen in ACLS and PALS. A thorough review of the following: Basic Cardiac Anatomy, & Physiology, 12 Lead OVerview, Lead Placement, S-A Node, Atrial, Junctional and Ventricular Rhythms. Plus, problems with rate, rhythm, conduction, and MUCH MORE! Both Static and Dynamic rhythm strips used. A comprehensive course manual will be given out on Day 1 Provider approved by: Ca. BRN, CEP 8157 for 14 Contact Hours March 1 & 2, 2003 or April 5 & 6, 2003 Day 1 - 1pm - 5pm Day 2 - 9am - 5pm
ACLS Provider Certification or Recertification Certification: (16 CH's) Must attend 2 days. Re-certification: (8 CH's) Offered on Day 2. ACLS Provider course topics include: Defribilation / Cardio version, Advanced Airway Mgmt. (including intubation), indications for current Cardiac medications, IV skills, Code Blue management practice, and much more. These courses will enable you to quickly assess and provide Emergency Cardiac Care in accordance with the most current American Heart Association and standards of practice. You must register at least one week prior to the first class date. Feb 15 & 16 or March 15 & 16 or April 26 & 27 Day 1 - 1pm - 5pm Day 2 - 9am - 5pm
PALS Provider Certification or Recertification
Certification: (16 CH's) Must attend 2 days.
Re-certification: (8 CH's) Offered on Day 2.

Early registration is neccesary for PALS.course. Pre-study is a must for successful
completion. Study materials will be sent to you as soon as you pre-register.

California State IV Certification / Bloodwithdrawl for RNs & LVNs
Topics include: Vein site selection, venipuncture technique for BW, use of various
venipuncture devices (adult & pediatric), legalities, proper handling of specimens,
conversion to IV infusion, & much more. (3 live venipunctures required).
A comprehensive course manual will be given out Day 1.
Provider approved by: Ca. BRN CEP 8157 for 30/24/6 CH's.March 28 @ 9:30 - 5:30pm and March 29 @ 1pm - 5pm and March 30 @ 9:30 - 5:30 pm
