Paul in May '99 Teen Magazine

Meet our cover guy:

Paul Walker insists he has no personal style, but with his drool-worthy looks, WHO CARES?

Besides it not that he’s clueless when it comes to clothes, he’s just a no-frills guy. “I like people to see me as a regular Joe, ‘cause that’s what I am,” he says. “My clothes are comfortable: Dickies, 501’s, Abercrombie & Fitch cargo pants.” When it comes to big dates or Hollywood blowouts, Paul admits, “I do like dressing up every now and then.”

Paul may not pay much attention to his own wardrobe, but he naturally notices what girls wear -- and he knows what he likes. “ I have a tummy fetish, so I like girls who have nice, flat tummies and wear cropped tops with faded 501’s – the thrift store kind – and maybe some Birkenstocks and a belly chain.” Also flowing, sheer dresses. “Where you can see the outline of the body” really do it for him.

Now we know we are going to cause some major moans, but Paul seems to have found a special someone. “There was a time when it was all about the girls and hanging out. Now I’m not into juggling girls. I met a great girl & we really hit it off.” Paul won’t reveal the lucky lady’s name, but we can guess two things about her – that she loves animals and adventure, just like he does. “I want 5 cats and 20 dogs,” he says adding that his favorite spots include the Monterey Bay Aquarium in Monterey, CA; and Sea World in San Diego, CA.

Part 2: HOT SUMMER DAYS…

“I didn’t know if acting was what I wanted to do – It seemed like a weird career in LA-LA land,” says impossibly babely Paul Walker. Aren’t we glad he decided to go for it! Whether you first noticed him as early as Pleasantville or caught this cutie a bit Later in Varsity Blues and She’s All That, odds are you can’t stop panting over Paul. Fortunately, you’ll be able to see him soon playing Jason, Claire Danes’ sweetie in Brokedown Palace. When he’s not filming, Paul enjoys the pleasures of a pure California boy. Most mornings you can find him riding the waves on his surfboard. Paul’s also pretty close with his family: brothers Caleb & Cody, sister Ashlie, and his ultra-encouraging parents. His folks are so supportive, in fact, they always believed in his acting ability and urged him to stick with it! “When things first started breaking for me,” laughs Paul, “I had to put up with my dad going ‘I told you so!’”
