Peretti, Frank This Present Darkness This Present Darkness was my first "single sitting" book. I mean, I was totally entranced. Just had to read one more chapter, over and over again. This was also the first time I've really appreciated God's care for me by sending angels in my behalf. I knew Heb. 13:2 (ministering spirits), but only intellectually. Now, I'm much stronger in prayer to release them too. The other books were just as good!
