Cut, Copy, and Paste or C/C/P for short
C/C/P is a feature that allows you to save text and take it with you. It can be one line or a whole page. Saving you a lot of writting. Also keep you from typing in addresses incorrectly. You will be doing enough bouncing from the signature box to the area where you compose your e-mails. Making adjustments and correcting coding typos. HTML is very exact. Any mis-coding or misspellings will make your HTML do funny things or it just won't work.

Cut
The "cut" feature can only be used on movable text. Like in the text box below. Move the cursor the the begining or end of "CUT THIS TEXT". Hold in the [shift] key and use the arrow keys to highlight the text. Next hold in the [cmd] key and then push the [X] key. [cmd]+[X] for short. The [cmd] button is located on the lower left of the keyboard. The text should disappear and you should here a funny clicking sound to verify the text has been cut.

Now to paste the text, push [cmd]+[V]. You can paste as many times as you want.

Copy
Copying is little more complicated. When you copy movable or permanent, you will ONLY hear the noise to verify that you did copy the text. Copying movable has the same procedure as cutting.

To copy permenant text you first have to push the [find] key. Then type in the word you wish to find. It only has to be the first or last word in the line or paragraph you wish to copy. The [find] button is located next to the [mail] button at the top of the keyboard.

DON'T COPY ME

Use the [find] key and type the first or last word in the phrase above. Hit return and it should highlight the word. Then hold the [shift] and use the arrows to highlight. Make sure the text box isn't in view. For some reason it won't highlight correctly when you can see it. Now push [cmd]+[C] to copy. Move to the text box and paste like before. [cmd]+[V]

Now say that you want to cut the word "text". It appears more then once on this page. How do you [find] the one you want to cut? Good question, glad you asked. When you [find] a word that appears multiple times. It will highlight the first occurance of the word. Simpy push [cmd]+[G] and it moves to the next appearance of the that word. Also [cmd]+[B] will move to the previous.

When you have cut or copied something. It will be there in the memory until you cut or copy something else. Switch users will delete the text from memory as well.

! ! ! WARNING ! ! !

WHEN MOVABLE TEXT IS HIGHLIGHTED. HITTING ANY BUTTONS OTHER THEN THE ONES SPECIFIED WILL DELETE THE TEXT FOREVER. BE VERY CAREFUL ! ! !
