Artists, crafters, musicians, and storyreaders join community leaders at the 1st annual celebration of community spirit and goodwill December 13th, 2pm-7pm at the Wm. Talley Recreation Center (2nd & Bentz streets).

    Miss Frederick 1998, Nikki Gouker, a 1997 Middletown High School graduate, currently attends Frederick Community College where she is pursuing an education degree to become a middle or high school teacher, and mentor adolescents.

    Miss Frederick is sponsored by the Sertoma Club of Frederick, with Jack Ganley as Executive Director. The Miss Frederick Scholarship Program is the Miss Maryland Pageant preliminary. Miss Gouker placed in the top ten at the Miss Maryland Pageant, the Miss America preliminary.
