The oil lamps produced at Epalladio are not industrial products, but rather artistic replicas, handmade with respect to the thousands of years of tradition. The designs are characteristic of designs from museums around the world. Every lamp is individually packaged and includes instructions and a cotton wick. One decoration, in a traditional Greek home, was the pomegranate. It was cherished as a symbol of joyous times and good fortune, as well as fertility and prosperity. This veneration of the fruit is rooted in ancient times, and this once ancient practice continues today, finding new meaning in every household. Epalladio art workshop introduces a unique collection of ceramic pomegranates which can be used as oil lamps using paraffin aromatic oil. All of which have three different sizes and except for their symbolic character they offer the exotic light that has been carried through history. |
