Mugsy and James D aren't letting the dust settle either, Mugsy decided to pick up a 6 stringer and start chuggin up some mean-ass riffs himself with the mighty James D on Drums and Vox. Snagging up Slammin Sam Cordaro on Leads and and J.P. Altieri on Bass. This brotherhood of mutants has now brought forth a band called

D-ZL is a heavy groove hard-core band based in Western New York State, USA. With numerous live shows under their belt they have gained a strong following in their area. They got their start in 1997 with a 4 track demo "DZL" which sold in excess of 1,000 units. Two years later they released "Feel This" on their own Clor Records label. "Feel This" has out-sold the demo at a staggering rate! With 2002 brings the release of ON THIS EARTH ( the pre-release can be heard on the link above )and industry sources say this is the best CD to date from D-ZL. Dan Clor brings in the hardcore and old-school guitar riffs to please any ear along with bassist Mugsy who brings a new meaning to the word heavy. Last but not least is the maniac rhythmic master, James D. (no relation to Chuck) who adds thunderous bangs and crashes with the scent of hip-hop and African rhythms.
