June 13, 2002: Set report by "StarTurtle". "I was in North Vancouver today where they are shooting Cody Banks starring Frankie Muniz (Malcom in the Middle) and Angie Harmon (Baywatch). The scene they were filming involved a runaway car going backwards down a hill with a baby at the wheel. People chase after the car as Cody (Frankie Muniz) skateboards infront of it and attempts to stop the car by pinning his back against the trunk and braking using the tail of the skateboard against the road. With sparks flying everywhere, Cody presumably realizes this doesn't work so he climbs onto the trunk of the moving car and then through the sunroof to get behind the wheel. I was very impressed to see that although Frankie Muniz had a stunt double, he did all his own stunts including going down the hill on the back of a very quick moving car with the skateboard and climbing into the roof of the car without a harness.
