Look Up and Live is an innovative approach to ministering to young people. Its six different components were designed by Generation X-ers to reach Generation X-ers and blasters. The think tank of twenty-somethings came up with these ministries through much prayer and trial and error. The result of their more than 12 years of ministering in high schools, colleges, and churches throughout the country is Look Up and Live. Look Up and Live invites 
youth, college students and young adults into a life changing relationship with God through several programs that promote fellowship, discipleship, outreach and evangelism. Look Up and Live enables people to experience the transforming love of Christ, grow in maturity with Christ and witness to others of God's unconditional love through Christ.
The ministry components are Operation Out of Egypt, which serves as an after school program. Currently, we serve about 30 academically challenged elementary school children at New Life Community Church in Jacksonville,FL. Through our liason with Campus Crusade for Christ we look to open five more centers around the city of Jacksonville. Recently,we received a $3,000 dollar grant for OOE from the United Methodist's Bishop's Initiative on Children and Poverty.
The Lord's Club is a traveling Christian Social Club that provides entertainment, fellowship and spiritual reinforcement in the setting of a night club. In its grand opening a year ago over 90 teenagers and young adults came to New Life Community Church to hear the lead singer from the Reggae Group Christafari perform. This state- of- the art Christian party has played at Edward Waters College and is in talks with other colleges to bring the party to other campuses. HAPPENING NOW!We will be celebrating the Risen Son, Jesus' resurrection on April 4TH at 8PM. Praya of Praya's Club will be here alongwith step teams, dance troupes, and many other guest to lift up the Savior. Videos will be projected on the wide screen while hundreds get there praise on. Prizes will be given to the best group or performer. Better yet it is all free. New Life Community UMC is the place to be Easter nite. You don't want to miss this one.

Josephs House is a soon to be built facility that will house abused and neglected children and teenagers, and provide them with pastoral care and counseling, so that they might come into a dependent relationship with God.
