As a bride-to-be, you have a lot to think about and plan in the months a head. Your headpiece and veil are only two of the many items to consider when you are planning your wedding look, but they can be the most important pieces you choose, next to your gown, of course! Your headpiece stands as your crowning glory and will be your most prominent accessory.
Creative Expressions provides affordable custom services to help you achieve your perfect look with a headpiece and veil designed with your style and personality in mind, as well as coordinating accessories for you and your bridal party. Other manufacturers products are also available, such as pre-made headpieces, hats, veils, tiaras, accessories, and more. However, at this time, since my entire site is under renovation to better serve you, pictures will slowly start appearing in the form of an on-line catalog for these items. So far there is one page with tiaras available to order (see below). Otherwise, I can either custom design and create your perfect headpiece and veil, or if we can find one in one of my suppliers' books we can order it.
Since the custom design and building process takes longer, sometimes brides with a low budget prefer to just order one already made. There are several options available when doing this. Most companies will let you order just the headpiece, hat, or tiara, and then Creative Expressions can provide a customized veil for that headpiece so that you can get exactly the veil that you want. Or, we can order the entire thing and if you wish to have detailing added such as veil embellishments, Creative Expressions will oblige. If we can't find exactly what you are looking for in my order books, then I will design and create your headpiece and veil. To view some examples of my work, use the link below. Owned and Operated by Errin Thompson, Creative Expressions focuses on affordable custom services for bridal headpieces, veils, and other accessories (i.e., garters, handbags, etc.). Other manufacturers' products, such as tiaras, are offered as the need becomes apparent. Creative Expressions has been an Internet business for almost one year. Currently, Creative Expressions is the one of the only headpiece businesses to offer custom headpieces and accessories world-wide. Creative Expressions is located in Alma, Michigan, a small Central Michigan city.
Errin has been crafting and working with bridal detailing for over 10 years and continues to enjoy the challenge of creating unique items. She thrives on detail and won't ever be satisfied with work only half- done. She is willing to consult with brides via email, snail-mail, fax and/or phone to get the job done for those of you who are too far away to see in person.
Errin has worked outside of the home in Business Administration and Accounting. After being married for 8 years, had her first child, Mychale (pronounced like Michael) Eleena Thompson in June of 1996. Since that time, she has been starting her business from the ground up, so as to remain a stay-at-home Mom. With her strong religious convictions, she strongly feels that the future of our children lies in the precious quality time that parents need to devote to them.
This is her inspiration!One day in the future, Errin hopes to open a large bridal shop of her very own. Until then, she will operate this business entirely out of her home, keeping inventory to a bare minimum. With the knowledge and expertise in the Bridal field as well as an Associates Degree in Business, Errin is pulling it all together to be a success.
September of 1988 (when she got married), she discovered how stressful wedding plans can be, and how difficult it is to find everything. And, finding the veil & headpiece of your dreams is especially challenging. Since that time, she has been "doing weddings" including designing and creating headpieces and veils for family and friends alike. When the response was overwhelming, and with her desire to stay at home and work, she was encouraged by all to continue her work, but as a business. She loves her work, and has a real knack for creativity and design detail. Her enthusiasm for assisting her brides, and exploring their wishes and unique style makes her a joy to work with. If you would like to contact some of the brides that Errin has worked with (for references), just ask her for their names and phone numbers. She would be glad to provide them.
Errin is expanding her business even as you are reading this. She truly believes that to better serve her brides, she should offer them the convenience of dealing with one person for everything they need. This takes a definite load off the minds of the brides that she works with, since they can get everything they need from one person. She will now offer complete head-to-toe outfitting of the bride, maids, mini-bride, flowergirl, and the mothers. She also offers many accessories for the wedding and reception. Her consulting, advise, and coordinating services are offered free with orders placed. (She does not charge consulting fees on top of cost of items ordered). Errin can offer a wealth of valuable information, so feel free to ask her anything that you would like. She truly enjoys her work, and loves to be a bride's stress reliever!
