Custom Service Information...
Creative Expressions offers custom services for brides who just have not been able to find the headpiece and veil of their dreams, or who don't want to pay bridal salon prices for lower quality headpieces, veils and coordinating accessories for the entire wedding party. My unique services are available at an hourly rate of $20.00 and that rate includes all standard high-quality materials for the items ordered.
Shipping for custom orders is $6.00 for either 2-3 day Priority Mail or 2-7 day UPS ground -- your choice! Other shipping arrangements can be made, if desired and if you are willing to pay the extra cost.
Custom Order Time-Frame...
You will need to start the custom order process at least 2 months (preferably at the time you order your gown -- 4 to 6 months) before your wedding date to ensure your satisfaction with your order. More time may be needed if you order a lot of custom services and/or items.
Absolutely NO custom orders will be taken with less than two months (eight weeks) before your wedding date. Sorry! If you are desperate for a headpiece, and you have less than two months to go, why not consider a sparkly rhinestone tiara in either a silver or gold colored setting? Tiaras ship within three weeks of placing your order, they are very reasonably priced, and they work well with most hair styles (even short hair!).
Most custom items can be completed within four weeks, sometimes in two weeks. But, because much of the process occurs through the mail or over the Internet, I still require at least two months to complete your order in the event that alterations need to be made to your items.
Down Payment Policy...
I require a non-refundable 30% of the estimate as a down-payment for your order and this must be paid at the time you place your order.
Custom Order Process and Return Policy...
The following process will apply to all custom orders (we can decide together if we need to do anything different):
After exchanging Email, mail, fax, and/or phone conversations to get a good idea of what you desire (using drawings, magazine photos, other photos, whatever!), I will give you a written estimate of the cost for your order plus a final design sketch (and this is a rough sketch -- I am not an artist and won't pretend to be, so a pencil or ink rendering of a finished headpiece will not be made, only a pen or pencil sketch of the basic design idea). At that time, you must decide if you want to continue with the order.
As soon as you give me the go-ahead to complete your order, I will make the item(s) per the agreed upon design. This is the point at which you have officially placed your order and your down-payment will be required at this time. You may also choose to pay for your order now so that I can send your item(s) immediately upon finishing it/them.
If you haven't already paid the balance of your payment due, it will be due at the time that I notify you that your order is completed. As soon as payment in full is received, I will send you your order.
Once you have received your order, you have 14 days to decide if you want to keep the item(s) or return them for changes or a full refund (less the non-refundable down payment). After your 14-days are up, no refunds will be given.
If you want to request changes after you've looked the item(s) over, you will need to write a detailed description of the required changes and send that written request back with the item(s). I will make the requested changes to the item(s) and re-send them back to you at no additional charge.

Canceling Your Custom Order...
You may cancel your order at any time prior to sending it to you and you will receive a refund of any moneys that you have paid, except for the non-refundable down-payment. Once you have canceled your order, I reserve the right to do what I want with the items that have been completed, and that includes selling them to someone else.
Payment Methods...
Credit Cards are not yet available as payment methods, however I am looking into that and will let you know just as soon as this option of payment is available! Of course, you can still pay by check or money order, placing your order over the internet or telephone, and then mailing your payment to me. Your order will not be started until your down payment is received. And, your completed order will not be sent to you unless your balance is paid in full.
Creative Expressions Custom Bridal Veils & Accessories uses the above policies for all custom orders. These policies are written and enforced by Creative Expressions and their agents and are subject to change at our discretion.
