State Standards

Finally! A site that lists a complete and comprehensive listing of each state's standard course of study, by grade level. Now you can find out what your child needs to know, year by year and grade by grade.

GENERAL RESOURCES

These sites are large sites, containing all kinds of information on just about anything educational. They also have links to many other sites. Great for browsing and beginning research for parents / teachers.

Family Education
This site is packed with information for all grade levels. I like the parent focus. Lots of tips and articles for parents of students in traditional classrooms.

Copernicus Education Gateway
A massive site, public school oriented but it has a wealth of information for any parent. The Research Center page contains links to great online resources for both parents and students.

Education World
This huge site is less "chatty" than many sites for parents. This is where I go when I need information on curriculum, general or specific.
