40.00 Italeri 6102 - Fortress Under Siege A super castle with one gate tower, four corner towers and nine wall pieces (gray plastic with brown doors), a cardboard base + sets of 6009 Kights and 6010 Saracens. We believe the parts in this castle to be the same as used in the forth coming Zvezda castle. It assembles just like the Zvezda "wooden fort" but will be bigger. It looks like a sure winner for both Zvezda and Italeri (who have some type of partnership deal).

12.00 Italeri 6021 1/72 Ancient Romans 1st-2nd Century B.C.; 35 figures, 1 horses, 36 shields and 30 spears. The set has 15!! of each of the first two poses and one each of the other figures in the scan below. There are 18 of each of the two shield types and 30 spears. The figures have longer pegs on their arms so shield attachment should be easier that those in the Guals set. Done in silver plastic, with so many figures in just two poses it looks like they hurried to make this set. (2 IN STOCK)
12.00 6022 Gaul Warriors - As seen below there are one each of the first four figures, nine each of the other four poses, 24 octagonal shields, 16 oval shields and nine of each of the two types of spears. The arm pegs that hold the shields on are too short and shield attachment will be difficult. (4 IN STOCK)
- 12.00 6026 100 Years War French Knights and Foot Soldiers - This set contains 28 figures plus 8 horses and some accessories. The mounted pose on the top left of the photo above represents Joan of Arc. There is one of her and the mounted pose next to her and two each of the other three mounted pose (one with separtate lance) for a total of eight mounted figures. The last mounted pose has two variations as there are two different plug on arms holding weapons. The set also has two of the foot figure in the top row and three each of those in the second row for a total of 20 foot figures. There two of the horse in the top row and three each of the horses in the second row for a total of eight. Each of the foot crossbowmen have separate hand/crowssbow pieces that plug on. In addition there are four each of the different shields for a total of 16. Done in silver plastic the level of detail is quite good. We wish they wouldn't make all of the plug on pieces.
OUT OF STOCK - 6027 100 Years War English Knights and Archers - A rather over engineered set. There are one each of the first two, and two each of the other seven poses in the top row + 2 each of the lance, two types of hands with arrows and the three shields. There are three each of the first two poses and shield and four of the last figure pose in the bottom row. In addition there are two each of the first horse and three each of the other two horse poses. As the mounting holes in the shields do not go all the way through attachment may be tricky, and there is no telling why the two shooting bowmen had to be made with separate hand holding arrow pieces that plug into (fall out and then get lost) the body of the figures. After all of the sets in silver that made no sense we also do not understand why a set of figures in armor was made in tan rather than silver. Total of 26 figures (18 foot and 8 mounted).
12.00 6028 Roman Cavalry; 15 mounted figures in 3 poses (5 of each) + 2 foot figures in 2 poses, 5 spears (they forgot to put one on the mold for the foot figure!!), 10 shields in 2 styles for the mounted figures and 2 shields in 1 style for the foot figures. There is only one of the horse on the left but 7 each of the other two horse poses. Good detail but fewer poses than early sets. Done in silver. (5 IN STOCK)
12.00 6029 Celtic Cavalry; Like the Roman Cavalry there are 15 mounted figures in 3 poses (5 of each), 10 shields for the mounted figures in 2 styles and 5 spears. There are two foot figures in 2 poses + 2 shields in 2 styles for them. Once again there is only one of the horse on the left, but 7 each of the other two horse poses. Done in tan. (4 IN STOCK)
-13.00 6037 Austrian and Russian Allied General Staff - Napoleonic Wars 1805-1815 - 44 Piece set has 39 figures (in 19 poses) + 5 horses (in 2 poses). However the set only has six new figure poses + 1 new horse pose while the remainder are made up of figures from sets 6005 & 6006. The new figures seem to be a size bigger than the old poses and the new mounted poses do not seat well on the horses. Made in tan. (9 IN STOCK)
-13.00 6038 ACW Union Artillery, This set has 13 figures in 12 poses, 2 riding horses, a six horse cassion (16pc), 2 four piece cannons and 4 cannon ball stacks. The 8 foot poses are in the other Italeri Artillery set. Nicely detailed but for some odd reason made in tan. (8 IN STOCK)
- 13.00 6043 AWI 1776 French Infantry his set has one horse + 49 figures in 14 poses. Made in light tan, the figures show nice detail. Multiple pose selection is not what I would have chosen but this set fills a hole in the AWI campaign. (11 IN STOCK)
- 13.00 6044 AWT British Light Cavalry 1776 - Another nice set 17 figures in 9 poses including one dismounted + 17 hrses in 5 poses. Made in light tan.
