"HAPPY MARDI PAWS" It's that time of year again !!! Time to dust off that Barney costume (just joking) and come on out to the Krewe of Barkus Parade (For additional parade information you may call: 581-BARK.)

This years theme is: "Voyage of the Tailtanic. Dogs & Children First!" and looks like it's going to be a "howling" good time !!! Here's all the, uh, POOP . . . I'm mean SCOOP . . . oh, whatever!!!

Tammy and I will be making a float which is SUPPOSED to look like the TITANIC after it hits the iceberg. We chose the "AFTER" look so that any mistakes or maybe I should say our lack of artistic talent would not be as noticeable.
(It's been a long time since either of us has had to use our sorority girl float decorating talents. Please be kind.)

This being New Orleans and all, you know the Muddy Paw "DAWG" Club will be throwing a Pre-Parade Pawty!!! You've just got to come on by chere and pass a good time with us. The Pre-Parade Bash will be held from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Cabrini Dog Park in the French Quarter. It's located on the corner of Barracks and Dauphine. The entrance is on the Barracks side. We'll have a doggie king cake along with food and beer for you humans. So, stop by, whether you'll be marching with us or not. If you don't you'll BE IN THE DOG HOUSE!!!
