At the character selection screen, highlight Takeshi and press START. Now highlight Al-Rasid and press START. Repeat this pattern with Ragnar and Xiao Long. Now select your characters as normal.
• Infinite Hit Combo
To do an infinite hit combo, get your opponent in a corner and press back and kick to sweep them then rapidly press strong thrust. This trick works with Taria, Koyasha, Namira, Mordus Kull, Xiao Long, and Hell Night.
• Play as Janitor Ned
At the character selection press start on the following fighters in sequence: Koyasha, Executioner, and Lord Deimos. Then highlight Xiao Long and press the Q button. Now Ned, everybody's favorite janitor, is playable.
• Switch Heads
At the character selection screen highlight the following characters and press start: Al-Rashid, Takeshi, Mordos Kull, Xiao Long and then Namira. Now the two fighters chosen will switch heads. We recommend Ragnar and Taria.
• Fluffy Bunny Slippers
This outrageous code puts fuzzy bunny slippers on your character's feet. At the character entry screen, move the cursor over the following fighters, pressing START on each one: Ragnar, Dregan, Koyasha. Then pick your fighter and you've got the slippers. It doesn't influence the gameplay, but it's hilarious to look at.
• 2-Player Practice Mode
To play with two players in practice mode highlight the practice button on the main menu and hit start simultaneously with both controllers. Now two players can select a character. Once characters are selected the fight will start and there will be no life bars. The fight can last forever!
• Play as Ichiro and Gar
To access Gar Gunderson (War Mech) and Ichiro in Mace wait for the copyright screen to load up (the first screen in the game) and hit Right-Up-Left-Down-Right-Up-Left-Down on your controller pad. In other words, move the control pad in a counter-clockwise rotation. If you've done everything right you'll hear a chime. Now go to the character selection screen and Ichiro and Gar Gunderson will be selectable just above the Executioner.
• Play at Machu Pichu
Highlight these characters and press start in sequence: Namira, Koyasha and then Taria. You can now play at Mach Pichu.
• Trick for Unlimited Lives
This really isn't a code, but it is a useful way of tricking the game into giving players unlimited continues.
First, make sure two controllers are plugged in to your Nintendo 64. Then start a one-player game, lose and then continue. Once you've started the next match press start on the second controller and join in. Let player 2 win the match and then have player 2 lose to the computer. Now, when it asks to continue hit start on player one's controller.
Keep repeating this and you'll have unlimited lives.
• Big head mode
To activate big head mode simply highlight and then press the start button on these three characters in sequence: Ragnar, Al' Rashid and then Takeshi.
• Select character stages
To play in your favorite character's stage highlight the character and tap start four times. Then select your character as normal.
• Small player mode
This code makes players much smaller. Highlight and press the start button on each of these four characters: Takeshi, Al' Rashid, Ragnar and then Xiao Long.
• Play as Pojo
To be Pojo, you must perform Taria's execution in one-player mode (and then continuing) or in two-player mode. Then on your next match in the select screen, go to Taria and hold down START. Pojo will appear - continue to hold down START and press the QUICK button to select.
• Play as Grendal
After you get three wins in either two-player or one-player mode. On your next match in the select screen go to the Executioner and hold down START. Grendal will appear. Continue to hold down START and press the QUICK button to select.
• Stage Select
In 2-player mode, players will fight in the home stage of the character chosen last unless a code is entered. To enter a stage select code: move to each character listed and tap START after each one, then go to your desired character and select as usual. All of these codes are for 2-player mode except for the Random A.I.
• Battle in a Mini Golf Course (Koyasha, Mordus Kull, Takeshi)
• Battle at Grendal's stage (Namira, Koyasha, Taria)
• Battle at Grendal's stage (Mordus Kull, Taria, Ragnar)
• Battle with a Big Noggin' (Ragnar, Al' Rashid, Takeshi)
• Battle in Micronaut Mode (Takeshi, Al' Rashid, Ragnar, Xiao Long)
• Battle the Random A.I. (Hell Knight, Xiao Long, Dregan, Namira)
To select a particular stage in which to fight, go to the character's portrait in player select and tap START four times. Then select your character as usual.
• Change a Character's Color
Press down any of the yellow C buttons while selecting a character and you can change their colors.
