The history of this folding table leg:
In 1971 or 1972 when we first got into the business of building shade canopies , I seen a folding table leg in use in the California flea markets and wondered where they came from.
Friends of mine who were selling in the old Long Beach drive in flea market were caring some old folding baby swings back to their selling space.
I seen them cut the folding baby swings down and they had a folding table leg.
They asked me not to tell any one where they were getting their folding table legs till they had enough of the folding table legs for their set up.
Later on I found out that the folding baby swing was on a recall list and some one had bought them all.
They were cutting them down and making folding table legs out of them.
This stile of folding table leg came into being in about 1978 . We added this folding table leg to our inventory at that time.
