-----------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to Start Wizard Personal Edition 32-bit, for Windows 95 and Windows NT4 or higher.

With Start Wizard you create launch menu windows each of which works like the desktop, but with these added features -

* As many desktop menus as you wish, each with your choice of icon and title.
* Minimized menus live in the system tray or the taskbar, or both.
* Small icon, list, and detail views as well as the large icon view.
* Each icon can have a short annotation as well as its normal label.
* Single or double click launching.
* An optional second launch selection for each icon.
* The menu can be minimized automatically after a program is launched.
* Other settings to make each menu look and work the way you want it to.
* Predictable program launching by dropping files onto the menu.
* Total control of the application started.
* The menu structure is completely independent of Window's folders and Start Menu groups.
* The initial appearance and operation of each menu can be stored in the menu file.
* The launch menus are created with a WYSIWYG editor, which can create complete menu items and even a complete menu with one Drag and Drop.
* An optional text area beside the desktop menu area, whose contents change according to the selection.
* Menu items can use the drive letter Start Wizard was loaded from instead of fixed drive letters.
* You can rename the Start Wizard executable files to customise them.

The program Setup.exe installs Start Wizard Personal Edition in the folder of your choice and optionally creates a program group for the Windows Start Menu. Please read the short and straightforward Licence Agreement below first, and do not install Start Wizard unless you agree to abide by the conditions. To remove Start Wizard from your computer you can use the Control Panel "Add/remove programs" dialog, whether or not you created a Start Menu group. Or, delete all the installed files and manually remove the association of file extension .STW with Start Wizard.

The Menu Editor is fully functional for a 30 day evaluation period, after which you must register to re-enable file saving. The help file contains details of how to register. This version of Start Wizard will not run from removable media or over a network. Software distributors who wish to use Start Wizard on their distribution media and network administrators need the Professional Edition.
