Michael Idrogo seeks public apology from Mayor Howard Peak

SAN ANTONIO, TX -- "I am circulating petitions among voters who all sign their name to seek a recall of Mayor Howard Peak. I strongly believe the citizens have a right to petition government."

"Mayor Howard Peak has made false and negative statements against me, a private citizen, (and others); which can be read in the latest issue of the SAN ANTONIO CURRENT newspaper. He also stated he did not honestly believe his assertions to be true."

"I am considering legal action against him. I demand a public apology from Mayor Howard Peak."

"It is the opinion of many citizens in San Antonio that Mayor Howard Peak is ignoring the needs of all the people in San Antonio. While the Mayor and a few members of the City Council have recently annexed unwilling parts of northern Bexar County (and making all kinds of service promises to them); it appears that the needs of citizens in the previously existing city limits have been ignored.. the east side, south side, west side, and near north side of towns.. fire protection, EMS, crime, sewerage, and our streets."

"There is the continuing question about NO ACCOUNTABILITY in the $3 million give-away for no services in the B.I.H. scandal; no one punished, no one prosecuted, no one fired."

"Now they also want to spend multi-millions of dollars to build a new AMTRAK depot next to the historic AMTRAK Sunset Depot, so they can apparently 'steal' the Sunset Depot to make a saloon. Is this fraud, waste, and abuse?"

"Mayor Howard Peak refers to a dead rat in the SA CURRENT newspaper article.. if there's 'a dead rat'.. maybe it will be found after the recall election!"

"If anyone wishes to sign the PETITION TO RECALL MAYOR HOWARD PEAK, they may call me at 733-9555" concludes Michael Idrogo.
