Your Professional Kennel Hosts BJ has a long history in the pet industry. She is a past president of the American Boarding Kennel Association and the Georgia Professional Dog Groomers Association. She has written a column with byline called "Animal Notes" for the Catoosa County News for past twelve years. She was recognized by the Catoosa County Comissioners who issued a Proclamation thanking her for all her community service work and for being instrumental in the conception, funding and building of the new Catoosa County Animal Shelter. Judy Rae fell in love with the area while here on a modeling assignment in the early 80's. She begin her second career here at the kennel in 1987 and became a partner in 1990 after receiving her certified kennel operators designation in 1989. The Kennel received the Governor's Gold Award in 1999 at a ceremony in Atlanta for Workplace Learning. We have an on-site GED Program available to employees. In 2000 & 2001, we received back to back Small Business Partner of the Year Awards to make a total of 3 times in 15 years. The award is presented by Partnership 2000 of Catoosa County.
