Pet InformationWe at Professional Kennels understand the trauma of leaving a pet at vacation time or when an emergency has risen. The pet will express his or her delight at being well-taken care of while their family is away. They will be played with and loved by the staff while in our care. It is not unusual for a pet to run and tell the staff goodbye on their departure. Our feline friends are also very welcome and each condo has an elevated resting area, a personal litter pan, fresh food and water at all times. Entertainment is in the form of special plants and mobile and a garden view are part of our feline service at no extra charge. Our canine guests each have their own separate suites in a variety of sizes. Even the most discerning animal enjoys music which is piped in around the clock. Toys, beds, bedding, etc..can be brought from home, however they are provided by the kennel at no extra charge. Special stainless steel food and water pans are used in all areas of the kennel environment. The kennel is completely heated and air-conditioned for the comfort of your pets. Our special outside exercise patios are covered and cleaned after each use. The temperature is monitored inside and out by special environmental thermometers. For the protection of all pets in our care we do require that the owners produce a current copy of each pets complete veterinary vaccination history. We feed a variety of pet food to our guests but we will accomodate pet food supplied by our clients along with their normal feeding schedules. Required vaccinations: Dog: Distemper..Hepatitis..Leptospirosis.. Corona..Rabies..Parainfluenza..Parvo Virus..Bordatella. PLEASE NOTE: Bordatella must be given at least 10 days in advance of stay. Cats: Rhinotracheitis..Distemper..Calici..Clamida..Rabies.. Panleukopenia..Feline Leukemia. Please NOTE: Client Housing Information Please make sure that your pet is on some sort of restraint or in a pet carrier. We are not and we cannot be responsible for your pet loose in the parking area. Exercise all dogs at the area provided by the fire plug before entering the building. ALL animals are inspected for fleas & ticks when entering building. A minimum charge for removing before housing will be added to your account. Please bring adequate medication for your animal should this be required. Please label with Veterinarian’s name and the dosage required and normal hour medication is given. Please inform us of any particular peculiarities: fear of storms, loud noises, etc. If you have asked for a special grooming please call before coming to pick up your pet. A mandatory bath is required on all dogs who have been in residence longer than five days. This does include cleaning ears, nails, etc. You will be charged if you return early as they have been placed on the grooming schedule. Please call before coming to pick up your pet. We do charge to clean up all dirty or matted animals before they enter the kennel. All puppies, kittens and longcoated animals are charged the next higher rate due to the added attention required with brushing and extra feedings. Normal medications that can be administered with the morning feedings are not charged. Any medications over this are charged at a $1.00 per occurrence fee. Any service requested outside of normal office hours will require a cash fee of not less than $50.00 and no more then $75.00 in addition to the fee for the service requested. These fees are not payable by any method but CASH. Please remember you are charged for ALL days that you have booked when you return early. We do not overbook. A phone call is much cheaper 72 hours in advance. Extended stays: without notification will be charged a flat fee of $10.00 a day in addition to daily rate. The Staff thanks you in advance for your attention. Daily Rates are based on size, coat and attitude of the guests in our care. The rates range from $12-18for dogs depends on size per night. Cats are from $9-11 per night. We do not discount services on multiple pets.
