Discovering this garden on the main street of Carbonear was a feast for the eyes. A surprise upon returning home was to learn that this home was designed by the father of Cameron Hopkins (one of the reunion organizers) and that the house had special childhood connection for Cameron as the home of a playmate.
Just down the main street a mural painted on the foundation of an abandoned lot gave a great spot to explore.  And then there were those seafarers in their yellow slickers always waving at the tourists.
Ahoy Mates !
As the reunion was starting to wind down family members from travelling home again, gathered is smaller groups in St. John's before departing and thus the time had all sorts of Bemister connections and was a big part of the reunion. Check out the St. John's pictures.
