To prepare your trophy for mounting, use the following guide:

 Fish: Wrap the fish in a wet towel, place towel in a plastic bag, and place in freezer.

 Game Heads: Tube the skin up the neck, leaving plenty of hide behind the shoulder, cut the head off, and either keep in cold place to be taken to the taxidermist a.s.a.p. or place in plastic bag and freeze.

 Birds: Wrap the bird in newspaper, this will hold the feathers in place, place in a plastic bag, and put it in the freezer.

Think about where you want your mount to be placed, because when you get to your taxidermist you will be able to pick the best position that will make it more memorable.
