WHY YOU SHOULD RENT & BASIC RENTAL PRINCIPLES
The RENTAL industry fulfills a need that covers a broad spectrum of concerns
for the community. Homeowners, renters, apartment and business complexes, small
and large contractors can profit from rental items.
The basic principle of renting is to pay a small charge for using an item for a
specified time duration. That is, you are charged a fee based on a rate
beginning at the time you sign the item out, until you return the item and sign
it back in.
An item has a rate for a time period, such as, $5.00 per hour or
in some cases, $20.00 per day(24hrs). Hourly rates are straight forward while
day rates mean 24hrs from sign out untill sign in based on 8hrs of usage.
Some items have an hour meter to measure time of usage, others do not and it's
left up to the renter to understand this policy. Rental fees can be paid with
cash, credit card, check and comercial accounts are available. Rental periods
are by the hour, day, month or long term.
