The Log Farm
Christmas Program

The Log Farm is a living history site, restored to depict life on an Ottawa Valley farm of average incom during the 1870's. It is a working farm womplete with horses, goats, pighs, poultry and a donkey. We are located at 670 Cedarview Road in Nepean, just south of the West Hunt Club Road and the new Hwy. 416 interchange.

As a fundrasing program during the month of December we are selling Christmas trees at the farm.

Our Program offers:

  • a horsedrawn sleigh ride through our trails.

  • a tour of the 1870's farmhouse with explanations of the food decorations and gifts that were tpical of that period.

  • a visit to our Christmas trees with a discussion of th history of Christmas trees and the different types of trees that are available.

  • a visit with the farm animals.

  • warm up by our camp fire with a cup of hot chocolate

    Hours of operations beginning December 6th.:

  • Monday to Friday 4:00 to 8:00

  • Saturday and Sunday 9:00 to 4:30

    Admission to the site is free. However there is a charge for the sleigh ride, Cost is $2.00 each or $6.00 a family.

    Trees are for sale from $20.00 to $25.00.
