Captain Bill Luciow II
Captain Bill Luciow II is U.S. Coast Guard licensed and an expert in these waters. Experienced mates are also here to answer any questions and help in any way to make this the best trip of your life! Captain Bill Luciow II moved to Panama City in 1991 and started as a deckhand for a long time resident. He worked for two of the finest charter fishing Captains in the area. Captain Bill spent all his time learning the art of being the best in charter and commercial fishing the reefs of this area. At the ripe old age of 26 he became a Captain. "Captain Bill Luciow II". In 1997, Captain Bill and his crew weighed
in three fish for the Florida State Record. They weighed in a 38 pound
Grouper which was just two pounds short of the record. He currently holds
the Treasure Island Marina Record for a Bull Shark that weighed in at 450
pounds (until the scale bottomed out!) Look for the Bonita Captain Bill
caught in 1997 in Jim Carey's new film soon to be released. Best of all
Bill and his crew caught an extremely large Sailfish for the Panhandle
area -- the Panama City News Herald published an article about the catch
in September 1997. The Internet also carried the article. He took the overall
Mount Record for Bay County with the most mounting-quality trophy fish
with Gray's Taxidermy, the world's largest service.
