Materials I Used to Experiment with Bronze Finishes

The cool thing about these three materials is that you can mix and match. You can mix acrylic paint with Chemtek metallic finishes as long as you don't go over 25% acrylic paint. And you can apply the Pearl Ex powders either dry, or mixed with a sealant to the paint and chemtek treated surfaces. The possibilities are endless.
I used 3 main materials to experiment with bronze finishes:

Chemtek Artist's Starter Kit --- for $29.95 from Chemtek (Chemtek, www.chemtek.com, 1-888-871-8100) you get:
1 each, 2 oz. Bottles
Metallic Finishes: Dark Bronze, Copper Gold, Aluminum, Brass Steel
Patinas: Aqua Blue, Green
Insta-Rust: Copper
Sealers: Aqueous
Pearl Ex powdered pigments I bought the 24 color set from Dick Blick for 34.95. That's a sale price and is still good as of 2/21/99 as far as I know. The regular price is 49.95. Item#J27103-1009 Phone #1-800-828-4548.
Acrylic Paint from the tubeI used Dick Blick brand, but as you know there are a bunch of brands.
