Players move their playing pieces on an eleven by eleven grid gameboard. Several of the grid squares are specifically marked as bonus squares. These bonus squares allow a player to take an extra move.

Each player starts the game with 3 Battleships, 5 Destroyers, and 3 Submarines. Submarines move from square-to-square in a straight line, any direction. Destroyers move from square-to-square along the horizontal or the vertical directions and may change direction after each square move. Battleships move from square-to square in any direction and may change direction after each square move. You eliminate your opponent's playing piece(s) by moving one of your playing pieces to or through the square occupied by your opponent's playing piece.

The object of the game is to be the first player to eliminate 8 of your opponent's 11 playing pieces.
