#3011 FIBERGLASS PARABOLIC SATELLITE ANTENNA
Build a commercial grade figerglass parabolic antenna with these comprehensive plans. Includes directions for making a mold and antenna. Once mold is made, turn out an antenna every few days for less than $200.00 in materials. Create a very profitable business. Most fiberglass antennas retail in the $900-$1500 price range. Twenty page manual provides all instructions, diagrams, mounting instructions, aiming information, etc.

#3012 METAL SATELLITE ANTENNA
Build a high quality metal frame parabolic antenna from materials available from most hardware stores. Can usually be built for much less than $200.00 in materials. Will receive all satellites and all channels. Large 20 page manual provides step-by-step directions, diagrams, aiming information, mounting instructions, etc. Everything you need to know to make a working satellite receiving antenna.

#3013 VHF-UHF TV PRE-AMP
This wideband TV pre-amplifier pulls in both VHF and UHF TV signals with about a 12 dB gain on all TV channels. Frequency responce range covers 50 MHZ to 900 MHZ. Very easy to assemble in less than one evening, this pre-amp has no coils to wind or capacitors to tune. Because of its pulling power, this pre-amp has been used very effectively with our #3005 In-set descrambler along with a Channel Master #4308 UHF TV antenna to pull in and decode pay TV stations from over 75 miles away. This pre-amp will improve ALL types of fringe area TV reception.

#3014 SATELLITE TV RECEIVER
Along with the antenna and LNA, a major component of a satellite TVRO system is the receiver. These plans allow home construction of a commercial quality TVRO receiver at quite a savings over purchasing one. Our 29 page manual leads you step-by-step through all assembly and includes 30 illustrations and diagrams. Can be built in just a few evenings.

#3015 SATELLITE TVRO LNA
';  Because the LNA, or Low Noise Amplifier) is a key component of a TVRO satellite system, MATCO ELECTRONICS has developed an LNA with very low noise GaAs FET transistors to allow the construction of a quality LNA for about $100.00.

#3016 DUAL UHF IN-SET DESCRAMBLER
This adapter circuit provides dual descramblers for gated sync as well as Zenith type systems (See #3005 and #3017). Some cities have both types in use. Adapter PC board mates with #3005 PC board through switch to allow one decoder or the other to be used. Note: This experimentors parts package contains the same parts as our #3005 package as well as parts to construct an adaptor board as well.

#3017 OUT-OF-SET, ZENITH TYPE UHF DESCRAMBLER
This type system is called the Zenith, Sync Suppressed Active Video Inversion Scrambling System. The horizontal sync is suppressed into the video, similar to the gated sync type (#3005), but the video is further scrambled by randomly switching it from positive to negative. The program audio is on a 39,336 HZ sub-carrier. Stations using this system have been: Chicago 66; Baltimore 54; Linden, NJ 47; Ann Arbor, Mi 31; Washington, DC 50; Los Angeles 22; San Jose 48; Cleveland 61; Philadelphia 65; Minneapolis 23; Oklahoma city 43; Tulsa 41; Dallas 27; Worchester, Ma 27; Fort Worth 33; Milwaukee 24; Atlanta 69; Portland 22; etc. This type descrambler requires no internal TV connection. Connects to TV antenna terminals just like the real thing. Utilizes a Zenith tuner module to create a complete receiving-decoding package. While we don't sell a descrambler kit we have an experimentors package which even contains a Zenith tuner module. We throw in FREE a PC board and the above mentioned construction plans.

#3018 VHF-UHF SCANNER PRE-AMP
This pre-amp was designed primarily for scanners but it has been found to be very effective in amplifying any weak signals for use on ham receivers, oscilloscopes and frequency counters. Modern stripline circuitry allows a 12 to 20 dB gain over the frequency range of 3 to 700 MHZ with usable gain up to 900 MHZ, with a noise figure of less than 2 dB. Easy to build in about 1 hour.

#3019 UHF TV PRE-AMP
Many of our customers expressed an interest in a TV pre-amp for UHF channels which would have high gain while filtering out VHF and FM signals. This pre-amp has been designed to do just that. This pre-amp features a minimum of 25 dB gain over the entire UHF TV band while an input filter attenuates frequencies below 500 MHZ. Stripline circuitry and microwave type transisters provide for a noise figure below 3 dB across the band. Simple and inexpensive to build.
