In order to provide credit cards to the members
of Global Interactive Investments Club (G.I.I.C.), the Board of Directors
of G.I.I.C. authorized a contract to be entered into with Mr. Ron Charlton
of Fort Erie, ON, Canada.
Mr. Charlton claimed he was Ready, Willing and Able
to provide the services G.I.I.C. needed.
In a contract which took effect August 6th,
1997 Mr. Charlton agreed to:
obtain credit cards for the G.I.I.C. membership, with
delivery commencing October, 1997; and,
obtain credit cards for new G.I.I.C. members on a timely
basis thereafter.
When G.I.I.C. encountered legal restrictions which prohibited
the Club from carrying out its obligations to its members, the Board of
Directors of G.I.I.C. decided to transfer the assets and obligations of
G.I.I.C. to Grosvenor Marketing Associates Limited, a British corporation.
Relying on Mr. Charlton's word that he was able to
perform according to the terms and conditions of the contract, Grosvenor
developed a business plan to:
finalize the delivery of credit cards to the members
of G.I.I.C.;
commence with the commission payments; and,
enhance and expand the entire credit card program initiated
by G.I.I.C.
In the normal course of business, Grosvenor requested
that Mr. Charlton provide verification of his capacity and ability to deliver
credit cards pursuant to his contractual obligations.
Mr. Charlton has not, to this date, produced independent
verification of any ability to provide credit cards. Without such proof,
Grosvenor was reluctant to carry on and proceed with expansion of G.I.I.C.’s
former program.
Grosvenor has now learned that:
Mr. Charlton does not have the capacity nor the ability
to provide credit cards as originally represented;
Mr. Charlton intended to utilize G.I.I.C. funds to commence
his own program and to issue credit cards only to his personal downline;
and,
Mr. Charlton has made application for a refund of his
own G.I.I.C. membership fees.
Since Grosvenor entered into the agreement with G.I.I.C.
based primarily on the ability of Mr. Charlton
to generate credit cards and since it is now evident that Mr. Charlton
cannot fulfill its commitments, Grosvenor Marketing Associates Limited
has decided to repudiate the contract with Mr. Charlton, terminate the
G.I.I.C. program and issue refunds to all former G.I.I.C. members.
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, APPLICATIONS FOR G.I.I.C.
REFUNDS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL MARCH 27, 1998.
To apply for a refund, please forward proof of
payment (copy of cancelled check(s), front and back OR a copy
of your money order receipt(s)), along with a copy of your application(s)
(if still available) PLUS a note or address label clearly showing
