5250 Local for Windows or DOS

5250 Local is a client-based application that lets you perform all of your midrange computing functions from your PC. And the PC maintains all of its functionality, giving you the power of two machines in one. 5250 Local is a user-friendly product that is available in two versions -- Windows or DOS.
 

5250 Local for Windows or DOS -- IBM-Compatible Editions

This product combines two-session twinax support with the user-friendly Windows GUI to give you an inexpensive, easy-to-use alternative to IBM software. It's compatible with any IBM midrange host and comes complete with the customer-proven user interface included in our 5250 Local for Windows product. Also available for DOS.
 

5250 IBM-Compatible Twinax Card -- PCI

The new PCI adapter for PC to AS/400 and System/3X connectivity without any switches or jumpers. It automatically configures itself in a compliant PC and dynamically adjusts as new adapters are added or deleted. This adapter allows for two workstation addresses, providing up to 32 sessions with APPC software or two addressed sessions, either print or display, when attaching to an AS/400 or System/3X host.
 
 

5250 IBM-Compatible Twinax Card -- ISA

You can run IBM terminal emulation software on the IBM-Compatible Twinax Card the same as you do on IBM's adapter. The MI card defaults to the same I/O address as IBM's, and it doesn't require any software changes. An inexpensive hardware alternative for your IBM-compatible emulation.

5250 Local for Windows -- AST-Compatible Edition

This software-only upgrade gives you the quality MI 5250 emulation without having to replace your existing AST boards. The MI program is specially enhanced for the AST boards to give you hassle-free access to your 3X/400 host under the Windows environment. Plus, it includes all of the features and functions you have come to expect from Windows. This Windows application for AST hardware is available only from MI.
 
 

Midrange LAN Gateways & Clients

5250 Local Gateway for Windows or DOS

5250 Local Gateway takes advantage of the existing twinax ports on your AS/400 or S/3X host. Whether you want an alternative to the cumbersome PC Support/400 or you need to free up some of the workload on your TIC or NIC, 5250 Local Gateway is the answer.

5250 Local Gateway supports Novell NetWare, Microsoft NT, IBM NetBIOS and Artisoft LANtastic networks. So there's no need to change your network to make your host connection.

5250 Remote Gateway for Windows or DOS

Choose between the 16-session gateway (with DOS Workstation only) and the 64-session gateway (with DOS or Windows Workstation), depending on the size of your operation and your individual needs. The 16-session gateway transfers data at baud rates of up to 19.2 Kbps, and the 64-session gateway operates at up to 64 Kbps. Both versions also save you money by eliminating the need for an expensive controller.

5250 Remote Gateway is now configurable to support either Novell's IPX/SPX or IBM's NETBIOS interface program and it supports Novell NetWare, Microsoft NT, Artisoft LANtastic and IBM NetBIOS networks. This configurable interface lets you take advantage of the speed and flexibility of your network's native protocol.

DecisionLink for Windows

DecisionLink for Windows makes Windows-based file transfer an almost effortless task for anyone who uses it. The package includes on-line help screens, context-sensitive help, and a host option that allows you to "peek" at the underlying host screen for troubleshooting. From this host screen, you can reset the system and/or send simple commands to place the host in the desired mode.
