If you install piling from a barge you can't afford not to have a Colton 890 or Dual Action Pile Driver. All that you need to do is jet your piling in to stabilize and then place our pile driver on top of the piling, turn on air (100 psi at 14 cfm), in this range the pile driver operates at 50 to 55 strokes per minute for maximum efficiency and then observe piling be driven to your described depth. No more barge moving or rocking up and down each time you lift your old style pile driver so you can drop on piling to drive in place. Our Colton 890 or Dual Action Pile Driver will pay for its cost in just a few jobs in labor and time savings.

All you need to use our pile driver is to connect it to an air compressor( 10hp ,2 stage wheelbarrow style) and raise it with your crane or winch atop your piling, then set over piling and then turn on air and watch it drive your piling.

Our standard pile driver weighs approximately 890 pounds( 1000lbs for Dual Action) and sets atop and over the top end of your piling to be driven.
