Fleece to Fiber and More

Fleece to Fiber and More. The name of a small family sheep-operating business says it all. What began as a hobby in 1981 with one Ron Rees spinning wheel is now a considerable concern located in Monroe, Michigan in a barn dating from 1870.

It is owned by Sue Coolman, a renowned local spinner and crafter. Sue started crafting in high school, starting with knitting, needlepoint and general crafts. Moving up to spinning and creating yarn was a natural progression for her.

She enjoys sharing her crafts with others and has been invited several times to local elementary schools to introduce children to spinning and fibers.

Sue is delighted that you can share her interest in spinning and fiber. Please follow the links below for information on her shop and products, tips on spinning, dyeing (coming soon) and photos.

Don't miss my Upcoming Events page...this lists the locations of craft fairs and festivals in the Southeastern Michigan/Northern Ohio area throughout the coming year.
