DOEACC is a Scheme of AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), the statutory body of the Government of India to recognise and regulate technical education in country. The Scheme is implemented by DOEACC Society, an autonomous organisation of Department of Electronics, Government of India.

Under the Scheme, Institutions meeting well defined norms and criteria are given accreditation of conducting specified levels of courses, viz O, A, B and C. Examination are conducted, twice a year by the DOEACC Society, at more than 65 centres all over the country. Successful candidates are awarded Certificates / Diplomas by the DOEACC Society, which are recognised by the Government for the purpose of jobs.
