sensing technology. This is a new kind of technology that lets you detach
the joystick from its base and play your games in mid air. How it works is
that there is motion sensing detectors that can sense the tilt of the
joystick and relay it to the computer as normal joystick data. This means
that any game that you have that will support a joystick will work well.
You are no longer having to lean over your desk to play your favorite
games. For example in a racing type game, all you would have to do is just
take the joystick of the base, hold it in your hand, and tilt it forward
or down to accelerate you car, or tilt in back to hit the brakes, just
tilt it a little to the right or left and your car will turn with your
hand. This is like nothing you have ever see before. It gives your games a
new virtual reality type feeling.
Now I will talk about its features, It connects to your computer
through the normal game port found on most computers sound card. There is
no special drivers to install. You just go to your Control Panel, select
Game Controllers, Add, custom 4 button, 4 axis joystick and calibrate it.
Start up your favorite game, go to the options menu, select controllers,
and make sure that joystick is checked. That's all there is to it. Very
easy to install.
The
VR Pro 9500 controller has 4 fire buttons, 2 special buttons to be used as
either rudders in a flight sims, or strafe in a role playing game. Also
there is a hat switch and sliding bar throttle. The VR PRO 9500 will work
with either DOS, Windows 3.11/95/98, or NT computers. There are no requirements
to run the VR PRO 9500. If you can run your favorite game on your
system, the VR PRO 9500 will work! !&(it has unique advantages that could even be built in to a moving chair/cockpit - with some imagination!)
In my opinion, I find the VR PRO 9500 to be great for Flight Simmer's.
Conclusions: The VR PRO 9500 is accurate, responsive and the throttle is
