I have put black marker marks on the clear liner to show this easy process.

First begin with the cut out of your foot size. Place it into the shoe and check for sizing. Many times you will have to trim off more because the inside of a shoe is usually smaller than your foot cut-out. When it all looks well, take the clear liner from the paper back. I fold the liner a bit to make it easier to get inside the shoe. Check it from the heel area to make sure it is right to the back of the shoe. Position it all the way in and pat it down. It is not permanent so it can easily be repositioned. Put your foot in the shoe and walk around to secure the liner inside. And voila, its done. The last picture shows the clear liner inserted without the black marker lines. The liners are even easier to insert in clogs, mules (slide type shoes). When you see them start to get dirty, sandy or dried out, just remove them and replace with another liner.
